Graham Ward previews AFC Bridgnorth’s trip to Shifnal Town on Tuesday

AFC Bridgnorth are on the road for the first time in the league this season with a trip to Shifnal Town at Coppice Green Ln.
The Meadowmen will be looking to secure their first win of the season after having to come from behind to rescue a point in their league opener at home to Worcester Raiders just two days ago.
Ward is expecting a tough task against Shifnal Town, who currently sit top of the pile in WMRL Premier after playing two games.
On the fixture:
“Shifnal are an excellent side and we need to be at our very best to get something out of the game. They are the favourites for a lot of people and we shall give them the respect they deserve.
“The FA Cup has been and gone. Full credit to them who handled the occasion better than us. I think the experience in their squad helped them punish us when they got any sort of chance. However, I am confident that we can put a heavy defeat behind us and I have full belief that we can give a better account of ourselves this time round.”
