AFC Bridgnorth are delighted to announce an agreement has been reached for both Steve Groome and Kevin Hesseltine to take over management at the club as a joint partnership for the upcoming season.
The pair will begin their new role ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
Club chairman Mark Weale said: “We are delighted that the players and members of the club gave positive feedback of the pairing as they saw out the end of the 2020/21 season for a couple of games on the sidelines together.
“Both have previously managed the club individually but never as a pairing, something I have full belief in and I am certain that with these two together, we will see some positive results at the club, both on and off the pitch.
“The club have an exciting off-season ahead as we start to prepare for the new season, which we are all hoping isn’t cut short this time around, we appreciate the support we have been getting and look forward to this managerial takeover and welcoming our great supporters back through the gates again.”
